Ingredients:

Whole wheat flour- 2 cup

Water as per require
3.
Salt to taste
4.
Grated jaggery- 2 cup
5.
Fresh coconut- 1 ½ cup
6.
Poppy seeds- 1 tbsp
7.
Cardamom powder- ½ tbsp
8.
Dry fruits
9.
Ghee- 1 tbsp
Method:
1.
Whole wheat flour, water and salt mix together and
make smooth dough.

Cover and keep the dough aside for 15 to 20
minutes.
3.
Take a pan and add ghee, grated coconut, grated
jaggery, poppy seeds.
4.
Then mix it together and stir on low flame till
the mixture makes soft and cooked.
5.
Keep aside to cool.
6.
Take a small ball from the dough.
7.
Roll thinly in to a circle.
8.
Then add the mixture in the center.
9.
Pinch the edges one by one.
10. Bring together all pinched folds in the center.
11. Deep fry
modaks in medium hot oil till golden browned.
12.
Ready to serve “Wheat flour modak in two styles”.
Note: We can steam or fry this same modak.
